Turkcell’s mobile value added services strategy
In 2004 Turkey’s largest telecom operator Turkcell started a program to take a strategic competitive step forward by starting the development of a mobile media portal as a single point of access to Turkcell’s wide range of value-added services and content.
Satama Interactive supported Turkcell in the early requirements capture phase to quickly visualise the strategy and service idea and make it tangible through prototypes.
For a period of 6 weeks, on location in Istanbul, I was part of the core design team together with a business consultant and front-end designer/developer.
We created pre-production prototypes and implementation guidelines for the mobile portal and for a set of focused mini-applications for the state-of-the-art mobile devices at that time.
